Remember...EVERYTHING, in life and health, has a sweet spot.
One of the hardest things for newbies to control is what they think is "Good for them".
"Oh FAT is ’good for me’..."Then I’ll eat an all fat diet!!!"
"Oh Mag is ’good for me’..."Then I’ll shovel it down!!!"
"Oh Iodine is ’good for me’..."Then I’ll take 50mg per day!!!"
Mag has a sweet spot, potassium has a sweet spot, fat has a sweet spot, protein has a sweet spot.
A sweet spot means "Not too much of something..but not too little either".
The body is very subtle. It only needs small amounts of almost everything.
We’ve evolved to be very thrifty in what we need.
And people can be harmed by TOO MUCH of something too.
How much antioxidants do we REALLY NEED? Don’t know.
How many B vitamins do we REALLY NEED? Don’t know.
I guess the answer is, "Enough to cure a deficiency, but not so much that it throws a wrench in the machine".
