Latest SpectraCell Results – Part 1 of 4

Part 1 – Lipid Panel

Here are my latest cholesterol values from a blood draw on June 3, 2019. I am including some prior results as well for comparison.

                                            April 9, 2018                       March 13, 2019                 June 3, 3019

Total Cholesterol (mg/dL)            275                                     309                                    323

Triglycerides (mg/dL)                  67                                        64                                      66

HDL (mg/dL)                              51                                        58                                      61

LDL (mg/dL)                              206                                      238                                    244

Non-HDL Cholesterol (mg/dL)     224                                       251                                    262

Total Chol/HDL Ratio                  5.39                                     5.33                                   5.30

Trig/HDL Ratio                           1.31                                     1.10                                   1.08

I believe my rising cholesterol values reflect my animal-based diet that includes quite a bit of fat and protein, but not many carbs.

Triglycerides are holding quite steady.

HDL is rising slightly.

In Part 2 (next) I will list the Lipoprotein Particle Values.
