I recently (maybe 2-3 weeks ago?) cut back by half my consumption of fish oil, mainly because the good stuff is expensive.
In the last 3 days or so, I have had recurring hip joint pain. I realized that this hasn’t bothered me for quite a while, even though it used to be almost daily.
To be honest, I was not very program compliant during the holidays, but I’m back on track now. If my body is punishing me, it seems it should have started earlier.
Could fish oil be the reason the pain vanished months ago?

I’d be much more confident that it was other components of the program that provided relief, Kathy, especially the anti-inflammatory benefits of wheat/grain removal, carb limitation, vitamin D, and efforts to cultivate bowel flora.

It’d be easy to test.
Go back on your regular dose for a week. Did the pain go away?
Then go back down to the lower dose. Did the pain come back?
