Hopefully posting in right place....

The high cholesterol never bothered me and have been aware of it for a while.
Am in a situation now where I am anxious due to CAC score results with 350 LAD and increasing amounts of palpitations, which are defo not panic attacks and I am able to record some of them on a Kardia Mobile 6L app.
My concerns are really now about getting the diet right, and would be grateful for any advise, as not sure if 42 day detox is suitable in my circumstances? I will outline some of the issues below:

Last blood tests Nov/Dec 2019.

Total cholesterol (UK) 10.7 mmol/L
Trigs 1.1  mmol/L
HDL 2  mmol/L
HbA1c 40 mmol/mol

Calcium score Feb this year 403
350 LAD
48 RCA
5 CX

Thyroid HX
2 years ago serum TSH 4.54 mlU/L
Nov 2019 2.96 mlU/L

Have been following a no grains, low carb diet since January with a fairly high amount of saturated fats including lots of dairy. I am hearing that I should be reducing sat fats, especially dairy and eating more MUFA’s???
Not sure how this might have affected bloods at this stage.
Hearing that I might be FH? APOE 4?

Heart
Have cardiology appointment later this week, so will see what tests he orders...

Having increasing amounts of palpitations over last 18 months, going from

1-2 episodes every 6-8 weeks.
From February episodes now several times a week and include:
Bradycardia frequently at night/resting.
Tachycardia/fluttering/A fib – Usually after getting up from sleep or resting.
Other episodes of what feels like missing beats or extra beats and occasional sensation of electric pulse either radiating out from my chest or down my left arm into my hand.
No pain, some tightness in chest.

Don’t seem to have a problem when walking or playing tennis. Tennis (Doubles) 2-3 times weekly, walking 4-5 times weekly for around 30-40 minutes.
For the same period (Last 16-18 months approx.) excessive amounts of burping.
Some shortness of breath in the morning. (Not always).
Might add that I have now been scared into stopping smoking! especially as chest CT showing evidence of possible airways disease...

BP Usually fine around 125/130 - 80/85
Height 5’6"
Weight 12 stone 12 lbs.

After initially refusing statins for high cholesterol, since CAC score have now caved and am taking 40 mg Atorvastatin.

Other Meds/supplements and length of time taking.
Have continued with Thyroxine 25 mcgs
Started Atorvastatin 40 mg 2 weeks ago.
