I had the roux-en-y gastric bypass 18 years ago. I lost 110 pounds but could never get these last 8 pounds off, in 18 years! So, now I’m on WB and having success. My question: my small intestine was bypassed; can I still have SIBO problems? I burp (belch) constantly after I drink liquids, especially water. I’m going to buy pH sticks to see if I’m still more alkaline than acid. That might help with my indigestion, right? Taking allergy meds has not helped, since I know they reduce acid and I’ve always been alkaline. But seasonal allergies rock my boat, big time! Thx . . .
