Dear Cureality Tribe:

I'd like advice on my latest bloodwork. I tried posting on the health tracker, but not sure I did it right.. So here are some of the relevant numbers from NMR, etc:

HbA1C: 5.2, est. glucose avg:  103
T-4 free: 1.25
LDL-p 1270
Small LDL- 533
Trig: 85
HDL-p 35.3
LDL size: 21.3
IR: <25
Large HDL-p 11.0
Large VLDL-p 0.8

Based on messages here, I did get the Troponin T test:  <.01
I follow faithfully the Cureality diet; I do have some 88% dark chocolate and glass of port each night.  One question:  Intermittent fasting.  I saw in archives that Dr. D. said that skipping a meal now and then (not consistently) is powerful in reducing small LDL, blood sugar, etc.)  I am starting to skip breakfast twice a week on non-HIIT days.  Is that enough "shock" to the system to make a difference?  I have never got over the "Dawn Phenomenon", with fasting blood sugars in the mid-to-high 90's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks

Something that can look the same as stealth carbs - is lack of muscle mass.

Increasing my muscle mass made very rapid changes to A1C and other measures.

I tried Endangered Species 88%.  Very good, maybe better than Green &Blacks.

Thanks, Boo.  I am eating the Endangered Species 88% for my chocolate fixes.

I had always understood that increasing fat intake (especially saturated)(in a APOE 3/3), lowered small LDL.

Even Jimmy Moore has commented on that.
