My blood sugar goes up a lot, after workout it went to 122 wtf...I thought adding muscle suppose to help with insulin resistance..... But I don’t like these huge spikes from lifting

Ok because when I walk a mile at normal pace my sugar can drop 15 to 20 points in 20 minutes...Last night after I ate then waited 30 minutes then marched in place for 20 minutes I had the lowest BS ever after 1 hour after dinner of 83

Agree I was into bodybuilding from age 30 to 45 now at 59 trying do just do some consistent lifting!!!
